Assodel plans activies and initiatives dedicated to LED technology and lighting applications
After the success of the Opto & Display Forum and Lumen organized by Assodel on March 25th in Milan, the Italian association of electronic suppliers is planning other activities and initiatives dedicated to LED technology and lighting applications.
From October 1st to 3rd, Assodel will create a new occasion for sharing knowledge on the opportunites of growth that LED devices have in the lighting applications (street lighting, internal architecture etc). The event will be organized in the Microelettronica exhibition (at Vicenzia fair) creating a meeting point dedicated to LEDs and lighting (with a focus on the technical aspects of it), but also a traditional appointment for the electronic community on the most interesting products and technologies of the market.
Another initiative, realized with the support of Regione Lombardia, will see the organization of an international mission of Italian SMEs at Opto-Vision (XII edition – September 2009, Paris) at the Forum de l’Electronique. Another occasion of putting electronic suppliers directly in touch with buyers and decision makers.
Assodel has also created a new internal workgroup which will focus its attention on LED application in the lighting field with the purpose of publishing useful guidelines for the market.
