The first Italian show devoted to LED lighting was Sold Out!
Enthusiasm, shared interests and ideas plus optimism for the future have been the key aspects of ILLUMINOTRONICA‘s success.
From 11th to 13th October, Illuminotronica was the first Italian show dedicated to Solid State Lighting, a fundamental point of reference for companies and operators in the lighting sector interested in knowing both market ‘state-of-the-art’ and new business opportunities for ‘Made in Italy’ LED lighting solutions.
The show was a success beyond expectations, not only for the number of attendees (more than 3,100 participants – lighting designers, architects, buyers, municipalities, system integrators, energy managers, installers, electricians, technicians, lighting professionals), but also for the quality level of managers of both companies and municipalities that attended the conferences or visited the exhibiting area.
The conferences on market trends, applications and technologies
In the different conferences, held in partnership with Universities (Politecnico of Milan – Dep. Indaco and University of Padua), Associations (ASSIL, AIDI and POPAI Italia), institutions (CONSIP, ENEA, Luce in Veneto) and Municialities, experts and key players talked about color and photometry, thermal management, LED driver and energy efficiency; standards and regulations; pay-back period; photobiological risk; applications in retail and commercial lighting; urban and street lighting, spending review and other related topics…
All the hot topics involved attendees through debates and round tables.
Light Culture at 360°
Apart from the conferences and workshops, ILLUMINOTRONICA organized a series of training courses at different technical levels for installers and electricians, providing a specific certificate of participation. Not only training courses for professional operators, but also courses for students, were presented because one of the main aims of the event was to educate people in LED light.
The exhibition area
In Hall 11 the exhibiting area offered a complete overview of the market offering in Solid State Lighting, from electronic components to subsystems, to luminaires for indoor and outdoor applications. The 85 exhibiting companies declared to be satisfied with the high quality of the organization and of the attendee contacts.

Next year, ILLUMINOTRONICA will be held from 10 to 12 October in Padua.
